JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Director is the leader of the sales department, and is primarily responsible for managing both the Corporate and Group Sales Representatives.  This position requires a sound understanding of strategic selling techniques, group ticket sales trending, and corporate benefit strategies so that he/she can create sales strategies for the sales force with daily interaction and coaching.  Additionally, this person must manage and use effectively the team’s automated sales contact database system.

The Sales Director position places a paramount on effective communication.  He/she is responsible for establishing and maintaining community relations with the decision makers of corporations, schools, associations, and churches in the area.  The Sales Director must also be a skilled communicator internally, as this position requires constant communication with all other departments, as well as with Ownership regarding sales reports, strategies, and staff development.

In addition to hiring, managing, and coaching the sales force, he/she will develop a client list of their own and will continue to target new sales for the team. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 years in baseball and consultative sales management experience required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness and desire to learn

Corporate Account Executive

JOB SUMMARY:
This individual will sell and service a full menu of ticket, suite and party area products to business customers.  He/She will work to achieve the established individual and team sales revenue goals as well as meeting qualitative servicing standards.  The executive will pursue a solid working relationship with other Biscuit departments, including group sales, box office, retail, sponsorship and food service.  The account executive will benefit from a networked proprietary computer sales contact management system, which allows for greater efficiency and effectiveness, unparalleled in the industry.

A consultative approach is the foundation to this position.  Tactics include a heavy amount of outbound telemarketing to existing customers and new prospects as well as face-to-face presentations to prospects.  Game day facilitation including seat visits and client entertaining is a key component of the in-season job description.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness and desire to learn
  • Commitment to learning the art of sales
  • 1-2 years intense sales experience (sales experience in baseball a plus)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence a must
  • Desire to have fun at work
